All of the material in the Hay Library, unless removed for conservation or exhibition, is potentially available for use in teaching. While the diverse collections at the Hay cross many disciplinary boundaries, some are regularly singled out for instructional use. Below are links for research guides to signature collections at the Hay Library that are routinely used for teaching:
Alcohol and Addiction Studies Collections
Brown University Archives
Hall Hoag and John Birch Society Collections
Harris Collection of American Poetry and Plays
McLellan Lincoln Collection
Anne S. K. Brown Military Collection
NOTE: Other collections that may be useful for teaching are described in the Hay Library's Collections A to Z directory. We encourage you to contact the Hay staff with any questions you may have about teaching with Special Collections.
