Expanded Access to Digital Content

As a response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, many of the Library’s content providers have expanded our access to digital content in order to support remote research, learning, and teaching.


  • Archaeopress Journals
    • Archaeopress publishes a range of journals in Archaeology and related heritage topics. Subjects include Greek and Mediterranean archaeology, Near Eastern studies, the Arabian Peninsula and more. (Access via VPN only)
  • Berghahn Journals
    • Berghahn Journals is the journals division of Berghahn Books, publishing close to 40 journals in Anthropology, Migration & Refugee Studies, Geography, History, and Film Studies.
  • Brepols Journals Online Archives
    • Brepols publishes 165+ journals covering many fields of the Social Sciences, Humanities, Arts, and History. Access is available up to 2011 for all titles, in addition to the 16 digital titles that the Library currently subscribes to.
  • Flipster Magazines
    • Flipster is an easy-to-use digital magazine newsstand, offering access to hundreds of popular titles.
  • Journal of Visualized Experiments - all sections available!
    • Science Education Collection
      • Educators and students use our innovative video collections in the JoVE Science Education Library to better teach and learn key concepts and fundamental techniques at the undergraduate course level. These simple, easy-to-understand video demonstrations cover a wide range of STEM subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Psychology, Clinical Medicine and Engineering.
    • JoVE Video Journal
      • Articles consist of high-quality video demonstrations and detailed text protocols which facilitate scientific reproducibility and productivity. The scope of the journal includes novel techniques, innovative applications of existing techniques, and gold standard protocols in the physical and life sciences. 
  • JSTOR Public Health Journal Archive
    • JSTOR and participating publishers have made 26 newly released Public Health journals available for free access through June 30, 2020. Topics addressed include Epidemiology, Health Policy and Administration, Occupational and Environmental Health, Health Equity and the Culture of Health, Aging, Bioethics, and Health Promotion.
  • Guilford Periodicals Online
    • Guilford Publications produces journals focusing on the fields of mental health, education, geography, and research methods.
  • Portland Press
    • As the Biochemical Society’s publisher, Portland Press works in partnership with researchers, institutions, and funders to share knowledge and advance the molecular biosciences. In addition to the Library’s subscribed journals, freely accessible journals cover the depth and breadth of the molecular biosciences, from observational work to elucidating mechanisms, from translating basic research into medical insights to foundational overviews of new and emerging topics.
  • ScienceDirect eJournal Collection
    • Explore scientific, technical, and medical research on ScienceDirect. Journals cover topics in Physical Sciences and Engineering, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities.
  • UC Press Journals
    • With some 30 journals spanning the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, UC Press disseminates innovative research and exceptional scholarship to libraries and scholars around the world.
  • World Scientific Journals
    • World Scientific has established itself as the largest international scientific publisher in the Asia-Pacific region, publishing about 140 journals in various fields.
