The Brown library is excited to work with BIARI scholars during their tenure on campus and beyond. We look forward to building connections and learning from each other. This guide is designed to support your research and other scholarly pursuits while on campus and after. While many of our resources are liscensed and can only be made available during your stay we hope that the training and relationships we offer will continue long after you return to your home institutions. Please feel free to contact any of the library staff for assistance.
Welcome to Brown.

Printing at the Rockefeller Library
If you have a photo ID card, you can log in to any computer and print to the Rockefeller Library printers. You need to add money to your ID card to pay for printing. To do this use the machine on the second floor between the two bathrooms.
If you have a temporary ID card (without a photo) you need to purchase a Bear Bucks card for $1 and then add money to it so you can pay for printing. To do this use the machine on the second floor between the two bathrooms.
Scan and Email
On the Second Floor of the Rockefeller Library there is a Kick Book Eye Scanner, which allows you to scan materials to a PDF and then email the file to yourself. At the top of the stairs, turn left then turn left towards the study area. The scanner is along that left wall.
