My name is Jason Cerrato, and I am a Social Sciences and STEM Instructional Librarian. As a library liaison, I connect with and serve a variety of departments, including Applied Math, Math, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth, Environment, and Planetary Sciences. In addition, I function in a supporting role for the Department of Sociology, as well as the Master of Public Affairs program.
I received my MSLIS from Simmons University School of Library Science (SLIS), where I am also currently a PhD candidate.
Before transitioning into librarianship, I received an MA in Political Science and Sociology from the New School for Social Research at The New School. In addition, from 2010 to 2023, I was a lecturer of Political Science, Sociology, and Macroeconomics with the City University of New York.
