Rhode Island Voter InformationIf you are registered to vote in Rhode Island, you can choose to either (1) vote by mail, (2) vote early in-person, or (3) vote in-person on election day. Currently, Rhode Island requires that residents be registered at least thirty days before an election day to vote. Most Brown Students registered in Rhode Island vote in-person because we have a polling place on campus! In Rhode Island, 17-year-olds may vote in a primary election if they will be at least 18 years old by the general election in November.
