You do not need to memorize NLM Style. The examples above are meant to provide a basic guide for properly citing your evidence. Citation management software can help you generate properly formatted citations in your documents.
A good tool to quickly generate citations without needing to download and install software is Zoterobib. Simply copy & paste the URL of your article, book or other reference, select NLM style from the drop-down, and Zoterobib will compile a citation for you.
