The purpose of this guide is to provide a pathway to resources on Aristotle's philosophy that are available through Brown University Libraries or that are generally available online. 

The literature by and about Aristotle is vast. As such, this guide does not contain a comprehensive bibliography. Instead, this guide serves as a starting point for anyone interested in Aristotle's philosophy. Here you will find a number of salient reference sources, critical editions, translations, commentaries, and select items of scholarly literature.

Using this Guide

This guide is divided into multiple sections each of which has a unique purpose. You can navigate these sections using the menu on the left side of the guide or you may click on the links below.
