ResearcherID is used across the ecosystem of Clarivate products, which includes:
Your ResearcherID is a unique identifier that serves to disambiguate your name from other similar names, and also creates a profile to highlight your work. You can track and be notified when your work is cited, and you can customize exports for your CV.
Web of Science and ResearcherID index citation data, which means you can see what papers have cited you, and calculate your h-index.
1. Sign up for a Web of Science account. In the top right corner, click Register & follow the prompts to create your account. Note - these account credentials will apply for all Clarivate products that require a log in - i.e. InCites, Journal Citation Reports, and EndNote.

2. After logging in, see the left side panel and click "Menu." Expand the selection under Profile and click "edit" next to "My researcher profile."

Here you'll be prompted to add your organizational affiliation and configure other settings, such as linking your ORCID ID.
Once complete, click "+ADD" next to Publications to add your publications.
