Brown Votes: Brown Guide for Voting

This is a guide to voting for the Brown University community.

Brown Votes

Brown Votes is a campus-wide, collective-impact initiative designed to improve voter registration, education, and participation at Brown University. Housed within the Swearer Center for Public Service, Brown Votes brings together students, faculty, and staff to streamline voter initiatives and serve as a hub for resource-sharing, communication, and coordination. To learn more about joining the Brown Votes student group, please visit our website.

  • To access additional voting resources provided by Brown Votes, please visit brownvotes.brown.edu.

  • To get civically engaged and become a part of Brown Votes's work -- such as conducting research on voting attitudes, registering local high school students to vote, testifying at the RI State House in support of voting rights, and fostering a community dedicated to the lifelong habits of democracy -- visits our  Ways to Engage page.

  • To incorporate civic engagement into your pedagogical practices, we encourage Faculty and Teaching Assistants to utilize our Civic Engagement Toolkit.
