Requesting Journal Articles Not Available at Brown

When searching databases, look for FindIt button. When you click on that button, you will get options for the article you want. If Brown does not have the article you will be offered a link to Request From Another Library. Click this, log in, and we will track down your article and deliver it to you through email. 

If you have a citation and want to enter the information yourself, you can use ILLiad (Interlibary Loan) to request journal articles. One time registration required.

Requesting Books Not Available at Brown

To request books not available at Brown, use Interlibrary Loan.

  1. Find an item in Open WorldCat or in our licensed version of WorldCat.
  2. When you find what you need click "Request this item". You need to be logged in on Brown Wireless (not Guest) or if you are off campus, use EzProxy).
