Basic Users

The Brown University community has access to InfoEd's SPIN search engine. The SPIN database allows users to search for funding program announcements via three types of searches: Basic, Keyword, or Advanced.

Advanced Users

A SPIN profile will allow users to access SPIN from any location, save search filters, save searches to run again in the future, create bookmarks to store grant opportunities, and access searches and bookmarks created by the Office of Sponsored Programs for the campus community.

To create a SPIN profile, access SPIN, go to the preferences tab and update those that will be the most useful filters for future searches.
