Research Rigor & Reproducibility

This guide provides a list of resources on identifiers, guidelines, and authentication techniques that may be helpful in fulfilling NIH new Rigor & Transparency requirements. Many journals now require reproducibility reporting often in the form of a checklist (see Nature's). Both initiatives seek to increase research transparency and reproducibility by defining requirements for authors and grant applicants to unambiguously identify and authenticate resources and to report protocols in sufficient detail allowing for the validation of results and replication of data collection and analysis methods.
