GeoData@SciLi

The Library's Geospatial Data Center

About

GeoData@SciLi is a consultation and workspace devoted to geospatial data and research that's part of the Center for Library Exploration and Research (CLEAR) Data Hub within the Brown University Library. Located on the 11th floor of the Sciences Library, we offer research consultations on finding, accessing, processing, and using geospatial, demographic, and socio-economic data. We have experience using a variety of software packages and scripting languages, including GIS, Python, R, and SQL databases. We create tutorials, host workshops, provide access to datasets purchased by the library, create and host value-added data, and curate the library's collection of over 100,000 maps.
