Images: Finding and Using

Research Help During the Pandemic

Our libraries are slowly opening up, but it will be a whiIe yet before things are back to the way they used to be.

For up to date info on studying in the library or obtaining materials, please see our blog.

Just remember: I am still available to help you with your research needs and library questions, big or small. Please see my contact information and hours of availability in the box on this page. I can help you via email, or you are welcome to use my calendar to set up a Zoom or Chat meeting.

Using Images in Education and Teaching

In this guide, you will find information on image resources here at Brown and at RISD, as well as tips on finding images elsewhere. In addition, you find information about the ethical uses of images, dealing with copyright, and more.

Faculty teaching courses at Brown may request scanning for educational purposes of art, architecture, and archaeology related slides and two-dimensional sources. Contact Karen_Bouchard@Brown.edu for more information.
