Library Data Resources for Social Data Analytics

A collection of resources for students in the SDA program, with a focus on data.

Introduction

This guide will introduce you to resources and services to support your time in the Social Data Analytics program. We specialize in social science data + scholarly resources, and can help you get what you need for your projects.

We have resources to support you along the research process, including:

  1. Plan your research project: literature review and background resources
  2. Find social science data: datasets, databases/platforms, API, text data
  3. Analyze social science data: coding, mixed methods, stats support
  4. Find scholarly, governmental, and grey literature resources: peer-reviewed articles, books, press briefs
  5. Writing and citation
