Classical scholars depend enormously on textual sources for their research, and have long gathered these sources into large compendia in order to have the texts close at hand.  As a field of scholarship, Classics was early in using computers to search and analyse textual sources, and was quick to digitize texts for this purpose.  There are many different databases that gather these texts, some of them being rather easy to use, and some requiring more training and experience.  Usually they are clearly divided into those that include Latin texts and those that contain Greek.  Some also are clearly Classical (that is ancient), while others include texts from late antiquity and/or the middle ages.
