Welcome! My name is Leo, I use they/them pronouns, and I am the
Librarian for History, Society, and Culture at the Brown University Library. You can find me on Zoom and in my office at Rockefeller Library A-16.
I support teaching, research, and collection development in
History, American Studies, Ethnic Studies, Gender + Sexuality Studies, and Science, Technology + Society.

About me: I'm passionate about critical literacies and research methods, primary sources, and special collections! My research interests include the history of science, technology, and medicine, LGBTQ and queer histories, and feminist theory. I am a first-generation college graduate with a BA in English and American Studies from Mount Holyoke College, an MA in Humanities and Social Thought from New York University, and a PhD in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Rutgers University. I have been at Brown since Fall 2022, and I enjoy working with all facets of this community on projects, assignments, and events.
