Founded in 1939, CAHJP holds the records of hundreds of Jewish communities, as well as of local, national and international Jewish organizations and the personal papers of many Jewish scholars and activists. The Archives now hold the most extensive collection of documents, registers and other records of Jewish history from the Middle Ages to the present day.
The objective of the "Time Travel" project is to collect and scan Israeli ephemera and make them accessible to the general public. The project is sponsored by the Arcadia Fund and is a collaborative project of the National Library of Israel and UCLA.

1974-1996; the Foreign Broadcast Information Service (FBIS) was an office within the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency charged with monitoring, translating, and republishing selected foreign radio and television broadcasts, newspaper articles, government news agency releases, conference proceedings, political speeches, and non-classified technical reports. The primary target audiences of these translated reports were officials of the U.S. government. Coverage includes political, military, economic, and environmental topics. Now includes the Daily Reports Annexes, 1974-1976.
