Records Management at Brown University

History

  • July 2008, Records Management Steering Committee was formed at the request of Provost Kertzler

  • 2009, As a result of the Records Management Steering Committee an Institutional Records Policy and Records Guidelines created to guide University employees in their management of records

  • 2009, Records Management website was created, under University Archives and the University Library

  • 2013, Records Retention Schedule revised

  • 2018, University hired it's first Records Manager, Andrew Majcher
