Register online for your AEON account prior to your visit. Research visits are by appointment only. You'll need your AEON account to schedule appointments and request materials, which we recommend you do at least one week in advance. AEON accounts are required for all members of the Brown community, local residents, and researchers globally.

Identify the materials you wish to view using the following resources:
Submit your requests for materials via BruKnow, our catalog and discovery tool. You may also submit a request manually through your AEON account. Researchers may request up to six items per appointment.

Once you have filled out a request form for an item through Bruknow or directly through a request form in your AEON account, go to the bottom of the form to link your request with a new or existing appointment. Finally, submit your request.
