TriunfoA weekly cultural and political magazine published from 1946 to 1982 in Madrid. It focused on general politics, social studies and economics from 1945 to about 1967. In the mid-1960s, however, it shifted to a more literary content. Its deputy editor, Eduardo Haro Tecglen, published lead editorials and transformed the magazine into an intellectual reference against the Francoist State. Its articles on controversial subjects such as capital punishment or marriage led to various bans and suspensions. In April 1975, Triunfo was suspended for four months by the Spanish Council of Ministers for its "attacks against national security" after an article entiled "Estamos preparados para el cambio?" ("Are we ready for change?") was published. The Library holds issues from 1965 through 1976.
